The Egyptian Red Crescent delivered more than 7,000 tons of food and relief aid to the Gaza Strip as part of the Zad Al-Ezza 124 convoy.
According to the official Facebook page of the Egyptian State Information Service, the convoy carried more than 7,060 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, which included: more than 4,500 tons of food baskets and flour, more than 1,400 tons of medical supplies and relief items, about 160 tons of baby formula, and more than 1,000 tons of petroleum products, in support of urgent basic needs within the sector.
In response to the repercussions of winter, the Egyptian Red Crescent has intensified its efforts by providing more essential winter supplies, including: more than 24,275 pieces of winter clothing, more than 28,850 blankets, 680 mattresses, and 540 tents to shelter those affected, as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support our brothers in Gaza.
It is worth mentioning that the “Zad Al-Ezza.. from Egypt to Gaza” convoy, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent on July 27, 2025, carried thousands of tons of aid that varied between: food supply chains, flour, baby milk, medical supplies, therapeutic medicines, personal care supplies, and tons of fuel.
The Egyptian Red Crescent, as a national mechanism for coordinating and dispatching aid to Gaza, has been present on the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing has not been completely closed from the Egyptian side. It has continued its readiness in all logistical centers and its continuous efforts to bring in aid, which amounted to more than half a million tons of humanitarian and relief aid, thanks to the efforts of 65,000 volunteers in the association.
