Al-Ahram’s editorial noted the desire between the two countries to deepen relations and coordination regarding regional positions and challenges, foremost among which are the circumstances facing the Palestinian cause. It noted that Egypt and Morocco have a significant historical role in addressing the thorny Palestinian issue, in addition to the international community’s eagerness to listen to the assessments of officials in the two Arab capitals regarding the situation in Gaza.

The editorial then addressed Egyptian-Moroccan economic relations, revealing that they were at the forefront of the Egyptian Foreign Minister’s activities during his recent visit to Morocco. It highlighted the ongoing economic renaissance in both countries, noting that economic cooperation between them will represent an added value for both.

According to the editorial in the prestigious Cairo newspaper, Minister Badr Abdel Aati conveyed to the Moroccan side that cooperation between the two countries in the industrial, commercial, and tourism sectors could form the nucleus for broader cooperation across the Arab world.

The editorial also highlighted the cooperation between the Egyptian and Moroccan private sectors, stating that this cooperation could yield countless benefits for both parties, given the global trend toward establishing partnerships and economic blocs within each region.
