Egypt has called on the business community to take advantage of the “Ro-Ro” shipping line to transport agricultural produce and products to Italy.
According to the State Information Service’s Facebook page, the Egyptian Ministry of Transport invited the Federation of Industries and Chambers of Commerce, the heads of the Egyptian Export Councils, all exporters and importers, and businessmen, To take advantage of the great advantages offered by the “RoRo” shipping line for transporting agricultural produce, perishable vegetables and Egyptian products to Italy, and from there to Europe and vice versa, using refrigerated and dry trucks.
This invitation comes within the framework of the great interest that Egypt attaches to increasing the volume of exports to European countries and various countries of the world, in order to support the national economy, and in light of the Ministry’s operation of the Ro-Ro line between the ports of Damietta and Trieste, Italy, and the launch of its first trips on November 28th, to increase the volume of Egyptian exports to European countries.
