From Sidi Kacem to the World: Peace Forum 2025 Showcases Cultural and Digital Diplomacy

The “Rihla of Live Arts” Association is preparing to launch the 2025 edition of the “Peace Forum for Contemporary Arts” in its mobile format, through the organization of the Peace Prize Ceremony and the official announcement of the launch of the “Path of Peace and Dialogue”, scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM in the Grand Performance Hall in the city of Sidi Kacem. The event will gather diplomats, cultural actors, artists, and honored personalities.

This initiative aligns with a cultural vision in harmony with the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, emphasizing the consolidation of values such as peace, coexistence, and openness, while positioning art as a tool for parallel diplomacy and a shining image of Morocco.

A Mobile Program to Democratize Access to Culture

The forum’s program includes a tour across ten Moroccan cities, aiming to ensure that all segments of society, particularly youth, have access to culture as a fundamental right. This initiative illustrates Morocco’s approach of using creativity and the arts to foster cultural dialogue, strengthening the Kingdom’s position regionally and internationally as a model of tolerance and openness.

The “E-Salam Connect” Digital Platform

This edition coincides with the launch of the innovative digital platform “E-Salam Connect”, an interactive space combining advocacy, creativity, digital exchange, and cultural diplomacy. The platform enables creators, youth, and interested participants to engage in an international network promoting the culture of peace and innovation, creating a bridge between Morocco and global institutions committed to building a more responsible and human-centered digital world.

Key Initiatives for Youth and Creativity

The forum features several key initiatives:

  • “Path of Peace and Dialogue”, aimed at discussing the future of the digital world, positive citizenship values, and the rejection of hate speech and terrorism.

  • “Peace” Competition, mobilizing young talent for innovation and artistic creativity connected to peace.

  • Intellectual sessions on artificial intelligence, digital rights, ecology, and social innovation, reflecting the forum’s commitment to being environmentally responsible.

Message from the Founder

The forum’s founder, Mr. Abdel Latif Nahila, emphasized that this edition primarily targets youth as the driving force capable of shaping tomorrow’s peace. He highlighted that art is a universal language that can unite differences, and that Morocco, as a country of tolerance and openness, conveys a renewed message to the world on the role of creativity in building a more humane digital environment.

Mr. Nahila views the forum as an additional milestone in Morocco’s pioneering path in modern cultural diplomacy, using arts and creative industries as effective tools to bridge communities, promote values of peace, and showcase Morocco as a civilizational model blending modernity, humanity, and social cohesion.
