The dawn strike… Was it message of fire to Iran or prelude to long war?.. A close US senator: “The game has begun.. Pray for Israel”

Israeli Army Radio reported that Air Force aircraft carried out an airstrike on a neighborhood where senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard commanders reside.

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that this strike was preemptive and considered a preventative attack.

Will this raid be a one-off strike? Or will there be days and nights of strikes?

Perhaps this strike brings to mind the recent war waged by Israel against the Lebanese Hezbollah, which began with intensive assassinations of Hezbollah military officials and culminated in the assassination of its Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.

According to the scenario of that war, in the current situation with Iran, Israel will strike at locations that will paralyze the enemy’s ability to respond. Therefore, if its strike against Iran targets the assassination of key Iranian figures, the war will undoubtedly continue.

This is the Israeli mentality that believes it limits the enemy’s ability to respond, or at least delays the ability to respond, because it targets influential figures in decision-making.

Is this a message to Iran before the sixth round of its nuclear negotiations with Washington?

This strike may be a message of fire to Iran, but that depends on the nature of the targets hit by the Israeli fighter jets. It will also depend on the Iranian decision-making process and whether Tehran is about to enter into a large-scale war in the region or whether it can make concessions in these negotiations and preserve its existence and regime. This depends on Iranian calculations.

Returning once again to the scenario of the recent Hezbollah war, Israel does not cease its strikes when it begins this type of war, considering that it will be on the brink of the abyss. Therefore, it will continue with continuous strikes until its operations cause major losses to the enemy’s infrastructure and military capabilities.

How is Washington currently monitoring the dangerous developments taking place in the region?

It has become clear that all the talk in recent days about removing American officials and citizens from the region was not a US pressure card prior to what would have been a decisive round in the ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran. Rather, it was genuine talk, paving the way for this current moment.

Information available so far indicates that US President Donald Trump and members of his administration are meeting to discuss this strike and its repercussions. A particularly striking point was what Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator very close to Trump, wrote on his X account immediately after the strike: “The game has begun.. Pray for Israel.”
