Netanyahu is said to have instructed senior officials in Israel to hold talks on this issue with the Biden administration in Washington to find a formula that would be acceptable to Saudi Arabia, the US and the occupation state.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf1\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 Today, I had the honor of meeting with US President Joe Biden, a friend for over 40 years. US President Joe Biden and Netanyahu\u00a0this week \u201cpledged\u201d\u00a0to work towards normalisation of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the\u00a0<i>Journal<\/i>, this is a dramatic change in the Israeli position on the issue of a Saudi Arabian nuclear programme. It noted that this will be met with\u00a0objections in Jerusalem\u00a0and Washington, as senators and nuclear experts strongly oppose the Saudi request.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>There is no need to obtain a nuclear weapon because it is impossible to use<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bin Salman said that if Iran obtains a nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia will have to keep pace with it and establish a nuclear project. He told\u00a0<i>Fox New<\/i>\u00a0that the Kingdom is concerned about \u201cany country\u201d getting a nuclear weapon. That\u2019s a bad move, he insisted. \u201cThere is no need to obtain a nuclear weapon because it is impossible to use. Even if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, [if] any country uses a nuclear weapon that means they are having a war with the rest of the world.\u201d Nevertheless, he said that if Iran does get nuclear weapon capabilities, Saudi Arabia will have to do the same.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The US and Saudi Arabia have discussed the outlines of a normalisation deal under which Saudi Arabia would recognise Israel and in return, among other things, the Americans would help the Kingdom develop a civilian nuclear programme, which could make Saudi Arabia the second country in the Middle East to enrich uranium. Other conditions for the proposed normalisation deal include US security guarantees and\u00a0concessions for the Palestinians.
