In his historic speech before the members of both Houses of Parliament during the opening of the first session of the fourth legislative year of the eleventh legislature, King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, emphasized that Morocco’s position on the Moroccan Sahara is clear and firm, despite the ongoing opposition from a few countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Necessity of Continuous Mobilization<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe King clarified that the successes achieved by Morocco in the Sahara file require all Moroccans to mobilize more and remain vigilant in the upcoming phase to preserve these gains and strengthen the country\u2019s position.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe King appreciated the efforts made by Moroccan diplomacy in countering enemy maneuvers. He underscored the importance of the participation of all national forces, both within and outside the country, in defending Morocco\u2019s legitimate rights. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here, a question arises: Can coordination between the Moroccan diaspora abroad and Moroccan diplomacy be improved to bolster the defense of the national cause in international forums?<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe King concluded his speech by affirming that Morocco will remain steadfast in its firm positions while continuing its approach of openness towards its Maghreb and regional environment. He indicated that this openness would contribute to achieving shared development and stability for the peoples of the region.<\/span><\/p>\n
