Since submitting its application in February 2017, the regional landscape has undergone significant changes, characterized by growing instability. Nevertheless, Morocco remains committed to strengthening its partnerships with West Africa through economic and developmental initiatives, such as the Atlantic Alliance project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lahcen Bouchamma, a political analyst, noted that &#8220;Morocco closely monitors the regional transformations, aiming not to compete with ECOWAS but to complement it by offering development opportunities based on South-South cooperation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abdelouahed Oulad Mouloud, a public law professor, further emphasized that &#8220;Morocco\u2019s initiatives aim to create regional synergies, providing practical solutions to the region\u2019s economic and social challenges rather than fostering rivalry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Towards a Redefinition of Regional Integration?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The current dynamics in West Africa reflect an increasing need to redefine alliances and regional priorities.
