Venezuela’s acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, said she was “fed up” with orders from Washington, as she works to unify the country after the United States arrested its former leader, Nicolas Maduro.<\/p>\n

We’ve had enough of Washington’s orders<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to CNN Arabic, she said at an event with oil workers in Puerto La Cruz, which was broadcast by the state-run Venezuelan television channel: “We’ve had enough of Washington’s orders to Venezuelan politicians”.<\/p>\n

Rodriguez added: \u201cLet Venezuelan politics resolve our internal disputes and conflicts. Enough interference from foreign powers\u201d.<\/p>\n

Continued US pressure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The White House has maintained constant pressure on Venezuela since Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were arrested in a raid in early January and taken to the United States, where the former leader faces several charges.<\/p>\n
