During an international music festival in Rabat, Diplomacy Cultural Magazine had the honor of hosting Cameroonian artist Vounoudougou Augustin, professionally known as LeBerger, one of Cameroon’s most expressive and emotive voices.
In an exclusive interview, LeBerger showcased a unique blend of Cameroonian heritage, including traditional Gourna rhythms and pastoral musical roots, combined with contemporary styles ranging from rap and hip-hop to urban music innovations.
LeBerger emphasized that his music goes beyond entertainment—it is a medium for expressing identity, promoting reconciliation, and advocating social peace, carrying powerful humanistic messages drawn from his cultural roots.
Diplomacy Cultural Magazine expressed pride in hosting the artist, viewing the meeting as an opportunity to enhance cultural exchange between Africa and Morocco, and to highlight musicians who carry the voice of their continent onto the global stage.
